Our Technologies
At GMOTION we use a variety of programs and programming to meet the needs of our customers. Our objective is to provide the right solution whether we buy a product and integrate it or develop the technology ourselves.

Many times we will take an open-source technology and use our expertise to make it into a highly functional and GMOTION-supported product.

Although we employ a diverse staff of creative, multi-talented people, fully capable of building completely original applications, we nevertheless prefer to avoid building from stratch. Instead, we prefer to adapt, improve, and enhance existing technologies, passing along the savings in time and money to our cost-conscious customers.

iEdit™
Our iEdit™ technology began as an open-source project that was re-written in a programming language called PHP. iEdit™ was developed because we saw a need for clients to edit text. There are many applications that help you change text on the web, but we found them to be either expensive, time-consuming, or difficult to use.

We created iEdit™ to do one thing: manage text. We found that most of the changes and updates our clients came to us with were text-only. So, instead of creating something that would manage new pages, graphic and links; we made iEdit™ to be focused on what was needed most. Thus, by staying focused, we can install it into every site we build for no additional cost or around $1000 to retrofit any other site.

We are currently in the process of writing iEdit™ Plus. This will be our heavy-duty editor that can handle much more complex tasks. We will update this page as programming progresses.

iCommerce™
Our iCommerce cart uses a modified MIVA system. We've taken the basic MIVA cart and added to it so it dynamically generates a more user-friendly and easy-to-manage cart. You can edit all your product information via a spreadsheet with uploads and downloads of all information.

iForum™
Our entry-level iForum product is CGI-based and can handle multi-thread conversations. Our iForum Plus, currently in development, is an extremely fast PHP-based system that is feature-rich and tailored to suit your individual needs.
